ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Financial assistance is provided to brilliant and economically weaker students to pursue higher education in streams of Medical/Engineering/ Education/Nursing/Civil Services/Doctorate etc. Very poor students are also helped for their primary education. Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi has also announced to sponsor all those EWS (very very poor) students from Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pardesh securing above 95% marks in secondary and senior secondary classes for higher studies in any stream.
The Trust has also started Post Graduate Course in this stream :
From the session (2016-17) the Trust has signed MOU with Gurmat Gyan Online Teaching Programe of Punjabi University in Sarbat Da Bhala Saheed Ganj Gurmat Sangeet College Amritsar.
The motive of this course is to set up robust woking arrangements for planning, producing, maintaining and reviewing the delivery of the Sikh Education Program.
Scholarship/Sponsorship to brilliant students belonging to economically weaker sections is being facilitated to more than 11000 students of various institute including MM Modi College Patiala, Punjabi University Patiala in Nine Rural Colleges, Panjab University Chandigarh, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Baba Bhag Singh University Adampur Hoshiarpur, Khalsa College Amritsar, BRD Arya College Jallandher, Govt. Collage Ropar, Akal Group of Institutes Mastuana Sahib (in five Constituent College), Veer Haqiqat Rai High School Patiala, SD Model High School Sirhindi Bazar Patiala, Arya Girls School books market Patiala. Heritage Public High School Jagatpura, Mohali, New Flower School Amritsar, Sary Hitkari School Talwara, Govt. Sr. Sec. School (Girls) Talwara, Parkash Memorial Deaf & Dumb Handicaped Children, Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University etc.
Providing monthly financial support to near about 3000 children from slum areas & taking care of their primary education, Meals, Books & Uniforms are also provided to them.
Adopted 40 Nepali orphan children & constructing a Centre for 100 children in Kathmandu, Nepal & taking care of their education, lodging & boarding.
The Trust is providing special significant financial assistance to Prabh Asra Disabled Caretaker Social Welfare Society, PADIALA (Kurali-Kharar Road), which takes Care of Orphan, Mentally Retarded, Physically disabled & unclaimed missing destitutes.
Sunny Oberoi Self Employement Generation Program
To eradicate unemployment a special project named "Sunny Oberoi Self Employment Generation Program" has been launched under which the Youth is given free training in Basic Computer Education, Stitching & Embroidery Courses, Short term Skill Development Courses etc, so that youth, especially unmarried girls, housewives, unemployed, semi-literate and those belonging to downtrodden could avail this facility at their doorsteps. An ISO-9001-2015 certified testimonial is awarded by the Directorate to successful trainees after six months of intensive training imparted by highly qualified teachers

Running free Sarbat Da Bhala Saheed Ganj Gurmat Sangeet College in Amritsar, providing degree course of 3 years duration in classical & stringed instruments with free boarding & lodging along with a monthly stipend of Rs. 500 to 50 students including 20 Pathi Singhs to be trained. The Trust has constructed a hostel with capacity of 100 Students so that they can be provided a religious environment for learning devotional music. This Course has been affiliated by Punjabi University Patiala.
