FREE COMPUTER TRAINING CENTERS

      In Modern era of information and technology, no one is considered literate if he/she lacks basic knowledge of computer, so the Trust has decided to impart free computer training to the youth, especially unemployed. It is highly encouraging that many aged and retired persons have also registered themselves under this scheme to be an effective part of IT society. Now working more than 150 SDB centres and other affiliated centres are spread all over Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Free Computer training is also given to inmates of various jails, so that they can earn respectable livelihood after their release. These centers are running in New Jail Nabha (Patiala), Central Jail Patiala, Distt. Jail Mansa, Distt. Jail Sangrur, Distt. Jail Amritsar, Distt. Jail Gurdaspur, Central Jail Ludhiana, Juvenile Jail Ludhiana, Distt. Jail Karnal, Distt. Jail Sirsa, Distt. Jail Bathinda, Central Jail Faridkot, Women Jail Ludhiana, Barnala Jail, Distt. Jail Yamuna Nagar, Juvenile Home Hoshiarpur.  

Sunny Oberoi Self Employment Generation Program

To eradicate unemployment a special project named "Sunny Oberoi Self Employment Generation Program" has been launched under which the Youth is given free training in Basic Computer Education. Stitching & Embroidery Courses. Short term Skill Development Courses etc. so that youth, especially unmarried girls, housewives, unemployed, semi-literate and those belonging to downtrodden could avail this facility at their doorsteps. An ISO- 9001-2015 certified testimonial is awarded by the Directorate to successful trainees after six months of intensive training imparted by highly qualified teachers.
