Free medical as well as eye check up camps are organized and cataract operations are done on state of the art PHACO machines to implant foldable lenses. The cost of pre operational / post operational medicines, lenses etc is borne by the trust. Trust also provides free near vision glasses to the needy.
So far eyes of 1,50,000 outdoor patients have been checked and 34,150 cataract operations performed while 51,000 near vision glasses have been issued to the needy patients in about 430 eye-camps held in Punjab, Haryana, H.P., J&K, Bihar, Maharashtra & Orrisa. The Trust has borne expenses for Cornea Implantation also.
