SARBAT DA BHALA PROJECTS IN JAMMU & KASHMIR

   

SDB opened its office in Srinagar (Kashmir) & approved a budget of Rs. two Crore for the following projects for the welfare in Kashmir:

• 200 Marriages of needy ones of all castes.
• 200 Free eye operations, lens implantation & cataract surgery every year.
• Pension to 400 old age women & widow ladies.
• Higher education assistance to 10 needy students
• Free education to 500 school students (SDB will take care of their school fees, expenses on uniform & books.

• Pocket money to Orphan students.
• 10 Computer centres for free computer education.
• 10 Stitching & Embroidery centres.
• Financial support to 10 NGO's who are working selflessly for the welfare of society.
• Arranging Teachers to teach Punjabi Language in the villages of Kashmir.

• Sarbat Da Bhala sent Relief Materials (Blankets, Sweaters, jackets, water, grocery & specially Medicines with Doctors team) to Flood affected -
• SDB Srinagar team has prepared a list of damaged houses due to flood, so that the Trust can repair , construct them or provide them financial help.
• SDB is also constructing 105 Flats (two bedrooms, kitchen with attached bathroom) for flood victims'
