Emphasis is laid on the education and welfare of special privileged (DIVAY-ANG) children in addition to those belonging to low rung of society living in slum areas.   Opened Sunny Oberoi Physiotherapy Centre for special privileged students in Dal Dalia Chowk, Patiala.   Renovated Sunny Oberoi Arts Auditorium Punjabi University Patiala at a cost of Rs.2.5 Crore.   Constructed two fully air-conditioned Sunny Oberoi Towers with 24x7 power back up in Navjivani School of Special Education Sular, Patiala. One Tower serves as hostel for 100 MR students and second as school for 250 MR students.  

• About 87 Old dilapidated houses are repaired & 145 new constructed for the homeless in villages Hiragarh, Punia, Patiala City, Gagghar Sarai, Kalvanoo, Sooler, Batala, Ranjeetgarh, Kotakpura and in more other villages of Punjab.

 

• More then 100 homes repaired & 105 New houses are constructed for the people rendered homeless after floods in J&K in addition to donating flood relief material and Medicine worth Rs. 35 lakh.

  Adopted Mata Sahib Kaur School Patiala & its building has been totally re-constructed. Constructed Sunny Oberoi Science & Commerce Blocks in Govt. Senior Secondary School, Bhankhar, Patiala. Constructed common rooms for girls in Mahindra College Patiala. Established Sunny Oberoi Play Station in Talwandi Dham, Ludhiana.   About 87 Old dilapidated houses are repaired & 145 new constructed for the homeless in villages Hiragarh, Punia, Patiala City, Gagghar Sarai Kalvanoo, Sooler, Bata's, Ranjeetgarh, Kotakpura and in more other villages of Punjab. Constructed 40 new flats for homeless people including 7 flats for Sikligar families at Bahadurgarh, Patiala & 33 flats for other families. In addition to renovation of houses for 80 families.     Nirmal Devi, a poor widow from Abiana village in Nurpur bedi, had been living In a rented house with her three daughters for a long time without any electricity and water connection. Dr. Oberoi registered the house in her name, the house repaired with all the connections of water or electricity and presented the keys on the occasion of Diwali. The family of needy Kuldeep Singh at Miranwali Basti Ward No. 18 of Tarn Taran village Patti was felicitated by Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. An attempt has been made by S.P. Singh Oberoi to provide a room. It is worth mentioning that the cost was borne by the trust as the livelihood of the family was difficult after his accident and there was no. roof over their heads. Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi promises to build house of Late Nihang Mangal Singh at Nurpur Bedi.   Paramjit Kaur From Miranpur Town, Patiala who was living with her three daughters in a roofless house. Dr. Oberoi gave him a permanent home and a pension of Rs.1500 per month.
